For COC Plus, what blood test results do we need to review

The blood results we require are known to influence outcomes in cancer and other chronic diseases, via their effects on chronic inflammation and metabolic dysfunction. Our aim is to measure these results, and together with analysis of an in-depth questionnaire, provide actionable insights and personalised medical recommendations which may include lifestyle optimisation, the prescription of certain evidence-based supplements, or the optimisation of your current COC protocol dosing. The aim is then to track these parameters over time, to ensure they are moving in the right direction.

This is a fasting blood test panel. Blood draw to be scheduled in the morning, with no food or drink (except water) for 8 hours before the test.

Please ensure that the laboratory reports you provide contain patient identifiable information with the minimum of patient full name, date of birth and the date of blood collection. The report must also clearly identify the processing laboratory and/or the hospital or GP surgery which requested the tests.

For safe and accurate assessments to be made with this information we require copies to be whole pages which are clear and legible throughout.  In case you do not have a test scheduled within 4 – 6 weeks of your likely attendance at Care Oncology, or are experiencing difficulty organising one, please contact us for further advice.
